Supply is concentrated in China
Around 80% of the world's solar module manufacturing and roughly three-quarters of battery cell production sit in China. In many categories, "buying European" means buying Chinese components assembled elsewhere — at a premium.

Asked before every first mandate
Are you an importer or a trading company?
No. CyMea is a buyer-side advisory. We do not resell products, hold no stock and take no margin on goods. You contract with the supplier; we make sure it's the right supplier on the right terms.
We are based in North Cyprus — does this actually work for us?
Yes — deliberately so. We operate a dedicated Eastern Mediterranean corridor: shipments for TRNC projects route via Türkiye, and we plan customs, transshipment and final delivery from the start. Verified, certified components are also a genuine sales argument toward European property buyers.
What about minimum order quantities?
MOQ reality varies sharply by category. Part of every Sourcing Check is an honest MOQ assessment — including consolidation options and small-batch strategies where direct factory volumes don't fit your project size.
How do you charge?
Fixed fees for the Sourcing Check and Supplier Verification, project-based fees for mandates, and a monthly retainer for the procurement desk — all quoted individually on request and agreed before we start. We take nothing from the factory side — that independence is the service.
Can you physically visit factories and trade fairs for us?
Yes. Factory audits and showroom visits run through our teams in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and we represent clients at the Canton Fair and category-specific fairs — with structured reporting instead of holiday photos.
What happens after delivery — warranties, spare parts, claims?
After-sales is negotiated before signature, not after failure: warranty terms, spare-parts availability and claim mechanics are secured contractually via Hong Kong, with payment structures that keep leverage on your side.
